Will the Cincinnati Bearcats become bowl eligible?

Last season the Cincinnati Bearcats were 4-8, missing a bowl game for the first time in 10 years. After their first losing season in the same period they cut bait on Tommy Tuberville and nabbed former Ohio State Buckeyes Co-Defensive Coordinator Luke Fickell. During the off-season Fickell and his staff did a great job revitalizing the fan-base, but the season hasn’t gone as smooth as the off-season went for the program. They are currently 2-3 overall and 0-1 in the AAC and starring at two ranked opponents in back to back weeks (UCF and USF).

It takes time for a new staff to get players that fit their style that is to be expected and if you followed this team you expected it to take time, but with five games in the books do you think the Bearcats will become bowl eligible in the 2017 season?

Check out the video I did on the subject, meet me in the comment section to discuss this matter.

Managing Editor of Bearcat Insider, I've been on the BCI team the last couple of years. I made the final four in the Biggest Big East Fan contest in 2011, I covered UC also on Cincy on the Prowl. I'm just a lefty trying to get buckets in this game called life Van Exel style.
