Kahlil Lewis: I’m very comfortable in the new offense

Kahlil Lewis is now a junior wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bearcats and after a solid sophomore season he is looking to take the next step. He is from Miami, Florida and displays the swag of a confident “Florida Boy” on a day to day basis. Bearcat Insider got to catch up to Lewis after the Bearcats final scrimmage of training camp on Saturday.

Last season he had 48 receptions for 605 yards and 5 touchdowns. From what I’ve seen in practice, he is seems like a sure bet to improve on those numbers. The offense will welcome improved playmaking from Lewis because of the season last year as a whole didn’t provide much excitement.

Managing Editor of Bearcat Insider, I've been on the BCI team the last couple of years. I made the final four in the Biggest Big East Fan contest in 2011, I covered UC also on Cincy on the Prowl. I'm just a lefty trying to get buckets in this game called life Van Exel style.
