Cunningham to play in NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Saturday

University of Cincinnati offensive tackle Korey Cunningham will play in the play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 20 in Pasadena, California.
Cunningham will play on the American team, wearing his usual No. 71. The game airs live on FS1 Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Rose Bowl.
A Second-Team All-American Athletic Conference selection in 2017, Cunningham was one of UC’s senior tri-captains. He closed his career out starting 24-straight games at left tackle and racked up 33 career appearances. He anchored an offensive line that gave up nine less sacks than it did a year ago, ranking in the top half of the league. Cunningham arrived at UC in 2013 as a 220 pound tight end and through hard work and dedication, worked his way into a 315 pound offensive lineman.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in health education in April 2017 and took home UC’s Jim Kelly Spirit Award at the team’s postseason senior awards banquet.
