Caupain gets shot in NBA Summer League with the Toronto Raptors

When the NBA Draft ended on Thursday night former Cincinnati Bearcat point guard Troy Caupain didn’t hear his as one of the sixty players called. Before the draft Caupain had worked out with numerous NBA teams so he knew he was on their radar, but even in mock drafts he wasn’t one of the sixty picked. The steady guard didn’t let Thursday night keep him down because within 24 hours the Toronto Raptors signed him to their Summer League team.

The Summer League starts July 7th and ends July 17th.

@caupain10: Summer League with the @Raptors !Thank you for the opportunity

I know I’ll be watching and wish nothing but the best for Troy, Bearcat Insider is rooting for you.

Summer League games will be on ESPN and NBA TV.

Managing Editor of Bearcat Insider, I've been on the BCI team the last couple of years. I made the final four in the Biggest Big East Fan contest in 2011, I covered UC also on Cincy on the Prowl. I'm just a lefty trying to get buckets in this game called life Van Exel style.
