Bearcats LB Perry Young makes AAC Honor Roll, Week 1

The Cincinnati Bearcats beat the Austin Peay Governors 26-14 at Nippert Stadium on Thursday night. It was the first game of the Luke Fickell era. The game didn’t go as expected by #BearcatNation, but at the end of the day a win is a win and you build off the mistakes and take away the positives.

For those who watched the game know sophomore linebacker Perry Young was a major positive for the Bearcats defense. Young earned American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for his 17 tackle (10 solo) performance. Not a bad way to start the season for the sophomore, keep up the good work Perry.

Managing Editor of Bearcat Insider, I’ve been on the BCI team the last couple of years. I made the final four in the Biggest Big East Fan contest in 2011, I covered UC also on Cincy on the Prowl. I’m just a lefty trying to get buckets in this game called life Van Exel style.
