Bearcats land four more recruits during the last 72 hours

The Cincinnati Bearcats have been busy making players Top 10 lists and drumming up excitement for the fan base the last few weeks (honestly since Fickell has been hired). During the past few days the Bearcats got four verbal commitments from players in the 2018 class.

The biggest get out of the four is quarterback Ben Bryant after missing out on Chase Wolfe getting a quarterback for the 2018 class was huge, Bryant was committed to Wisconsin before reopening his recruitment up a few months ago, oddly Wolfe recently committed to Wisconsin so it is crazy how those two will be tied together. Bryant is labeled a 3 star player by Scout, Rivals and 247.

They landed another big man on the offensive line with Jeremy Cooper. You always need big dogs to keep the skill players clean. Like Bryant, Cooper is from Illinois also. Cooper is rated a 2 star by Rivals and a 3 star by 247.

The Bearcats dipped into the sunshine state of Florida to land athlete Yanez Rogers, Jr. who is ranked a 3 star by 247.

They also landed another Ohio boy in safety Darnell Shields. Shields is labeled a 2 star player by Scout and 247 and 3 star by Rivals.

@darnell_shields: #NewEra I am proud to say I am 110% committed to…..

@benbryant_7: I’m a Bearcat!!!

Managing Editor of Bearcat Insider, I've been on the BCI team the last couple of years. I made the final four in the Biggest Big East Fan contest in 2011, I covered UC also on Cincy on the Prowl. I'm just a lefty trying to get buckets in this game called life Van Exel style.
