Bearcats in running for Kansas transfer Carlton Bragg

Multiple reports state that former Kansas forward Carlton Bragg has narrowed his teams down to five and Cincinnati is one of them. Bragg is a former McDonald’s All-American from Cleveland, Ohio. Things haven’t went as smoothly has expected in Kansas, but the talented 6’10” forward would be a nice get for the Bearcats. Cincinnati isn’t the only team based out of Cincinnati that has a chance for his services, the Crosstown Shootout foe (Xavier) is on the list also.

Hopefully Mick Cronin and the gang can show him tape on Kyle Washington (a transfer from NC State) and see if that would persuade him, also the new Fifth Third Arena will be ready when he is eligible to play that’s another carrot they can dangle. @JonRothstein: Kansas transfer Carlton Bragg tells me his top five are Xavier, Arizona State, Illinois, Cincinnati and NC State. Will set visits soon

Bragg averaged 4.6 points and 3.3 rebounds during his career at Kansas, he played in 56 games for the Jayhawks.

After sitting out one year, Bragg would have two years of eligibility left for whichever program he chooses.

I attached a prospect video of Bragg, check it out.

Managing Editor of Bearcat Insider, I've been on the BCI team the last couple of years. I made the final four in the Biggest Big East Fan contest in 2011, I covered UC also on Cincy on the Prowl. I'm just a lefty trying to get buckets in this game called life Van Exel style.
